keynote speakers
The lecture will explore some elements of Cree/michif narrative and
storytelling, highlighting how world view is embedded in story,
language and landscape. Material for the lecture will be grounded in
the speakers experience of growing up in a Road Allowance community,
where storytelling was one of the main vehicles for maintaining
family and community law.
